We are writing in the hope of creating good and time-lasting connections with partners around the World that are interested in working with our hotel.
The nature of our business is giving hospitality to people who choose the mountains for their holidays and vacations, both in the Winter and Summer, especially the Italian Alps and in particular the Mont Blanc.
Indeed, our hotel is located at the foot of the Italian side of Mont Blanc, in Valle d’Aosta (Aosta Valley) in the village of Entrèves, 2,5 kms (1,5 miles) upstream Courmayeur.
Both in Winter and Summer, our hotel provides a very convenient home base for winter sports and trekking excursions. Mountain tops and valleys that can be reached in minutes by cable-car and cars/shuttle buses.
From our hotel, 16 rooms with balconies, every guest can enjoy beautiful mountain views.

Our Surroundings
Val Veny cable-car is only ten minutes walk from the hotel door. Likewise the SkyWay bottom station. Being located at the very merging point of the valleys Ferret and Veny, our guests can plan their excursions and activities, deciding where to go and what to do every morning, depending on the weather and attitudes.
The Italian entry to the Mont Blanc Tunnel can be reached within 3 minutes from our private parking lot, offering travel and leisure opportunities to France, first of all the nearby Chamonix (on the other side of the Mont Blanc Massif).
Courmayeur the town and its ski area are only 1,5 miles downhill, 5 minutes by car, offering entertainment and attractions for everyone.
Our 13th Century village of Entrèves keeps the charme of a medieval mountain village, built with a style that is typical of the Aosta Valley, with homes made of stone and wood, and carved and notched casements that embellish the ancient homes.

A few words about our Hotel
The Hotel Aigle has been recently completely restored (2020) with a homey beautiful design that well integrates in the landscape. It is equipped with all the modern comforts (furnishing, cable/satellite tv, free wifi, elevator, wall and floor heating system, telephone, comfortable brand new bathrooms with shower and bidet, private parking lot) and with our restaurant offers a wide choice of both local and classic dishes prepared by our local chef. We are also known for our long time experience with preparing gluten-free and lactose-free meals.
The hotel has been designed and built also to provide easy access and comfort to people with special mobility needs that use push-wheel chairs (ramps, toilets, showers and elevators have been made in order to provide the best mobility).
We also have a brand new Finnish Sauna, two bars, and a warm and cozy lobby with a fireplace. Our bar in the lobby offers a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Another fireplace is in our restaurant.
All of our staff is chosen among people with long term experience.

Where we are
The Hotel Aigle is located in Entrèves, a pretty village of the Aosta Valley in the Courmayeur area.
Entrèves is located at the end of the valley, where it is blocked by the Mont Blanc massif, forming a small plateau from which the Val Veny to the south-west and the Val Ferret to the north-east branch off. The village is just over 2 km from Courmayeur, along the road that leads from the town to the Mont Blanc tunnel.
The Aigle Hotel is located in the eastern part of Entrèves, where the provincial road leads to Val Ferret.

How to reach the Hotel Aigle
For guests arriving in Courmayeur by public transport (bus or train), a shuttle service by hotel car is available. The service is free and on request, with appropriate notice.
How to reach us by car from Italy
From any location in Italy, three solutions are possible:
- Take the A5 motorway (Turin-Aosta-Mont Blanc) to the end, about 3 km after Courmayeur. Continue for another 600 m until the bend on the left before the Mont Blanc tunnel. Exit to the right and turn right, taking the road to La Palud which goes down. After 300 m the Hotel is visible on the left side.
- Coming from Courmayeur, take the Statale 36 for about 2 km to the point where it crosses the Larzey-Entrèves Municipal Road. Take the short connection on the right with the indication for Val Ferret. Take the Municipal Road for less than 1 km to the Hotel, which appears on the right side, after a slight curve.
- Coming from Courmayeur, it is also possible to take the Larzey-Entrèves Municipal Road from the beginning. This solution is particularly suitable when waiting times for the Mont Blanc tunnel cause long queues on the motorway. It is also recommended when visiting Courmayeur.
How to reach us by car from France
After the Mont Blanc tunnel, take the first km of road downhill. At the first bend to the right, exit to the left and turn right, taking the road to La Palud which goes down. After 300 m the Hotel is visible on the left side.
How to reach us by bus from Italy and France
Buses from Aosta, Italy and Chamonix (France) stop in Courmayeur, in piazzale Monte Bianco. At the same stop, take the bus to Entrèves and Val Ferret. The frequency is every 30 ‘in high season and 1h in the rest of the year. After about 10 minutes of ride, get off at the Entrèves stop, almost in front of the Hotel.
How to reach us by train from Italy
Take the Turin-Aosta train, which stops in Chivasso for passengers arriving from Milan. From Aosta take the bus of the Aosta-Courmayeur line. From Courmayeur continue as above.
